Better is a dry morsel, and quietness with it, than a house full of delicacies and disagreement

How much wisdom the Lord reveals these words of Proverbs, chapter 17, verse 1: "Better is a dry morsel, and quietness with it, than a house full of delicacies and quarrel." But some people believe that money is the solution to all ills.

It does not always solve everything. After all most wars happen because of wealth. A country invades another to plunder its mineral reserves and even water, as in the Middle East. When billionaire businessman dies, the fight is fierce in contention for the inheritance.

Plead misery, but sometimes the citizens of modest means, living more in harmony than homes where intrigue and confusion are present just because of money. At this time people leave God aside and run to the confrontation, as if physical force resolve the conflict.

When we have the peace of the Lord, everything goes normally. There is no reason for strife. The food needed to satisfy the hunger is in the pantry. The clothes and shoes stored. The bills on time. Therefore it is better to have little and the presence of Jesus Christ, than to have a lot, without the refreshment of God.
