When we lose sight of the promise, we forget who God is. The important thing is not the time of the promise to be fulfilled, the important thing is that it will be fulfilled. Whoever does not lose sight of the promise does the same to Abraham! Who, in hope, believed against hope, so much so that he became the father of many nations. And he did not doubt the promise of God by unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, and being sure that what the Lord had promised was also mighty to perform.
