Every holiday season the same scene is repeated: some Christians to celebrate the Christmas party ride the famous tree at home. Some of them even say they will be guided by the "Christmas spirit". You see, people are knowledgeable of God's word, but the rebel Lord's commandments.
Probably never read the book of Jeremiah, chapter 10, verses 3 and 4. To refresh the memory of them these are the God of recommendations regarding Christmas trees fans: "For the practices of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel. They adorned with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not waver. "
Even after so clear notice, Babylon settled in the lives of many Christians. Equal to the Hebrews who left Egypt rejected the recommendations of the Lord and set out to build the golden calf. Today, the Christmas tree has taken that position, unfortunately even within several evangelical temples.
To refresh the memory of fellow believers around this planet, there is no passage in the New Testament from Matthew to Revelation, any reference to the Christmas celebration as the birth of Jesus Christ. Did the disciples were unaware of the date on which the Son of God came to live in this world in human shape ???
