Iraq, the second country that most appears in the Bible

* Luís Alberto Alves

Did you know that the land in dispute
A war with world interests
Oil has memorable stories and
Myths of civilization?

If you do not know, see below: That the garden of Eden was in Iraq.
Mesopotamia, where it is now Iraq, was the cradle of civilization. Noah built the Ark in Iraq. The tower of Babel was in Iraq. Abraham was from Ur, which was south of Iraq.

Isaac's wife, Rebecca, was from Nahor, who was in Iraq. Jacob met Rachel in this land. Jonah prayed in Nineveh, which was in Iraq.
Assyria, which was in Iraq, conquered the ten tribes of Israel. Babylon, which was in Iraq, destroyed Jerusalem.

Daniel was in the den of lions. At where? In Iraq! Baltazar, king of Babylon, saw the "writing on the wall" in Iraq. Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, carried the Jews prisoners through Iraq. Ezekiel prayed in Iraq.

The Kings were from Iraq. Peter also made prayers in Iraq. The "empire of man," described in the Apocalypse, was Babylon, a city in Iraq.
And you probably do not know these: The word Mesopotamia means "between two rivers," more exactly between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The name Iraq means "Country with Deep Roots."

Certainly Iraq is a deeply rooted country of enormous importance in the Bible. Except for Israel, no other nation has more history and prophecy associated with it than Iraq.

Israel is the most mentioned land in the Bible. Whose name corresponds to Babylon, land of Shinar, Mesopotamia.
