God dictated the "Ten Commandments" by signing the covenant with the people. He made it very clear that the Hebrews could not, under any circumstances, worship any god but Jehovah. At that moment that immense population of ex-slaves, among men, women, seniors, young people and children took the orders.
Unfortunately, as it is today, it was not long before the people left the presence of the Lord, running to worship a golden calf and to adopt reprobate behavior before God. They have forgotten the miracles worked by God since leaving Egypt. They no longer remembered the opening of the Red Sea, where they crossed over on dry feet.
How many Christians freed from disease, misery, addiction to drugs, prostitution, sexual perversion, witchcraft, deception, crime, robbery, hatred, lies, bankruptcy, psychosis, madness, depression , sadness, apathy, discouragement, failure and other series of evils have broken the covenant made with God!
The past of prayer, vigilance, evangelization, preaching, songs of praise, ministration of the Word and teaching was lost because of the vanities, the lies subtly imposed by satan and his demons. The fire Christian gradually turned into a dull charcoal stone, without any trace of smoke.
