By feeding on the Word of the Lord, Daniel managed to pass through three reigns: Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus and Darius. He saw the return of the Jews to Jerusalem after 70 years of captivity in Babylon. It is estimated that he entered the lions' den when he was 80 years old. During his long life, at no moment did Daniel feel any desire to feed himself on the banquets served at the court of the three kings in which he was present.
Today, many Christians want to have great powers, perhaps be equal to one Daniel, Moses, Esther, Ruth, Debora among other great servants and servants of the Lord. But they do not intend to leave the satan table. That is, they want to continue enjoying the meals and wine offered by the demons.
As God is just, this is not going to happen. He will never shed his anointing on someone who is still a hostage of the devil. Jesus Christ is judgmental: either he is worshiped or Satan is worshiped! There is no room to stand on the wall, as politicians do.
It is up to us Christians to resist this kind of food and drink. Even if the world condemns or discriminates against us. We must keep in mind that it is best to please Jesus Christ. The food offered by the Lord will always strengthen us and his wine is the eternal joy within our spirit, with which we will find the disposition to advance in the combat that every Christian will fight while on this planet. But with Jesus Christ on the side, the heavy burden will be light and everything will end well. Make Daniel equal, always refuse the wine and food of the king of this world, known as satan.
