I don't have time for God! 9

Luis Alberto Alves We need to reserve quality time for God at all times. It cannot be a conversation filled with interest, like when the husband intends to make love to his wife. It must be something good. Talk to our Father about everything that is happening. Ask for his opinion. Something routine. Not just trying to get in touch with God when things are bad. In any evangelical denomination, traditional or not, people have become accustomed to seeking the Lord intensely when something starts to go wrong in life. They wake up, remember the existence of the Lord and try to fast, pray all the time, climb the mountains, if possible even sleep inside the church. This is religiosity. We need to have a dialogue with God, always. Even when everything is fine. Learn to make time for the Lord. After all, in eternity you will have Him before you at all times. So get used to talking to God without any hindrance. Make it a habit. You can be sure that closed doors will open quickly. Because you shared with God and asked, without interest, for a solution to something that was beyond your strength. Luís Alberto Alves is a pastor.
