There are opportunities where Jesus Christ speaks openly through other people, in a preaching, praise, film or when we read a book and a certain phrase touches the heart. As disciples of Thomas, we want to see to believe. But Jesus Christ pointed out: "More blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
The master takes this faith from his servants. Believing in miracles, the impossible that only Jesus can do. When we act in this way, He sits beside you and watches you all the time. He understands his distress and anxiety to realize the long-awaited dream. It is enough to keep our captive mind on the throne of the Lord, in the highest heavens that we will have this joy of seeing it work wonders in our life.
For days we have imagined that God closed his ears to our prayers and turned his gaze to the other side of the world. Wrong. He continues to watch you there in the corner of the room, where he cries the sorrows and discomfort of rowing alone against the tide, in a world more and more dark and full of bad people.
From the moment you truly believe, without making any kind of charge, you will feel the Lord speaking to you openly, advising you and guiding you on the best path you must follow to avoid overrun and deception. Just let the disbelief aside and the arrogance. At this moment the Lord will open his sweet lips to talk to you.
Just stop acting like Thomas. The spiritual is not to be seen, but to be felt deep in the heart. Feed faith daily by reading the Word of the Lord. When we are strengthened we can hear the speech of Jesus Christ. It brings no pain or affliction, but comfort to the soul and certainty of victory, which we only have in Christ Jesus.
