An example of this are two months of the year, which honor two Roman emperors: Julius Caesar and Augustus, the latter founder of this Empire. The months of July and August are to honor these two rulers, who brought so many victories to the Romans, by conquering different lands and annihilating peoples who resisted the power of their army. Jesus Christ was aware of this desire of the Jews, that He be the King to deliver Israel from the hands of the Romans. It is in this context that the Lord asks his disciples who the crowds said he was, as narrated in Luke chapter 9 and verse 18. Just as it is impossible to hide a lighted lamp under the table, so it was with the works performed by Jesus Christ. As described in the Book of Isaiah, the Master would become known and reveal that he was the Son of God because he would perform six signs, which only the Power of Christ would be able to perform.
