Luis Alberto Alves Most people imagine that they will never face wars. Mainly the 21st century generation, accustomed from childhood to the rosy world of social media. Place where everything is perfect. Sadness passes away from the posts. They think real life imitates what happens there. To complicate matters, certain evangelical denominations disrespect Jesus Christ by “selling” the Crossless Gospel. God would be our butler answering any request, no matter how absurd. Like a spoiled child who never accepts to hear no from his parents. No person has seen God. Nor did he lean against the wall to demand fulfillment of promises. First, because there isn't and there will never be someone to do this. The Lord does everything in His time. In case you realize it's a bad thing. It will simply ignore the request. In this context comes faith. Some mistake this word for hope. Faith is something totally spiritual, it springs from the depths of the heart and soul. That's when we believe in the realization of that project, even without seeing any traces. Luís Alberto Alves is a pastor.
