Arthur Ashe, the legendary Wimbledon player, was dying of AIDS.
He was infected with infected blood during heart surgery in 1983.
He received letters from his fans, one of whom asked:
"Why did God have to choose you for such a horrible disease?"
Arthur Ashe replied:
Many years ago, about 50 million children started playing tennis, and one of them was me.
Five million actually learned to play tennis,
500 thousand became professional tennis players,
50,000 arrived at the circuit,
5 Thousand reached Grandslam,
50 of them arrived in Wimbledon,
4 of them reached the semifinal,
2 of them made it to the final and one of them was me.
When I was celebrating the victory with the cup in hand, it never occurred to me to ask God
" Because I? "
So now that I'm in pain, how can I ask God, "Why me?" .
Happiness keeps you sweet!
Judgments keep you strong!
The pains keep you Human!
The fault keeps you humble !!
Success keeps you brilliant!
