Fasting and prayer, weapons against the darkness 3

When we fast we realize how often we are out of alignment with God. Sincere fasting shows our dependence on television, the internet, gossip magazine, and even unfunny talk with people who do not please God.

Fasting is spiritual training to face darkness. It is the opening of our heart to the Lord to fill us with his anointing, for he is cleansed of impurities, which were withdrawn during fasting accompanied by prayer. From there the Lord opens our spiritual eyes, we realize when someone is held hostage by demons.

Evil spirits attack in three ways: possession (totally controlling the person's life), oppression (they act by pushing that person to do their wills, it is common in this process to hear voices talking to do something bad or suggesting suicide) and obsession Evil that springs from the heart, is from the inside out.)

When one is possessed, demons (usually legions with more than 2,000 evil spirits) triple their physical strength, and it is not possible to hold the demon possessed, even if he is thin or even a child. Only by the name of Jesus Christ, will the situation be controlled, if the one who is praying has life on the altar of the Lord, clothed with fasting and prayer.
