The Lord makes all things new 2

* Luís Alberto Alves

This style of acting shows that the Lord makes all things new. There is no lost case for God. It is when it enters our lives, at a time when the world was already leaving us aside, just as orange without juice, whose destination is the garbage.

That is why in Corinthians chapter 1, verse 27, Jesus makes it quite clear: "But God chose the foolish things of this world to confound the wise; And God chose the weak things of this world to confound the strong ... "

Sometimes we look at someone lost in drugs, prostitution, perversion, witchcraft, crime, addiction, idolatry, robbery, and we consider them annihilated without any service in the hands of God. The Lord is expert in making new what the devil has spoiled with the sheaf of sin.

The greatest men and women God has ever used to spread His Word all over the world were despicable people before society. Few valued them. They were just numbers on the left, without any use.

God chooses the illogical 1

* Luís Alberto Alves

Man's mistake is to imagine that God works with logic, as in mathematics, where 2 + 2 is 4. It already begins in the Trinity: God + Holy Spirit + Jesus are one! Three are actually the same God. It is the only case in mathematics where 1 + 1 + 1 = 1 and not three, as dictated by the rule.

Take the case of the 12 apostles. All men full of faults and sins. Prosecutor Matthew was corrupt and a thief. John, later known as an apostle of love, was too nervous to ask Jesus to lift his hands to the heavens and rain over the city, whose inhabitants refused to hear his Words and stoned them.

After his death, Jesus Christ appeared for the first time to Mary Magdalene, a woman from whom he drove out seven demons that forced her to become a prostitute and then became one of her followers.

And what about Noah, man chosen to build the ark and deliver the family from death. From the root of it came Japheth, Shem, and Cam. Adept of the wine, he drank so much one night that he collapsed and had to be clothed by his children.

Heart stuck to consumerism 5

* Luís Alberto Alves

It is quite different from the chocolate egg festival without any meditation. What matters is if you fill with this kind of candy, without thinking of God and lasts only one day. The proposal in this case is to kill the will of the flesh without any reflection on the Holy Spirit in our hearts.

From the moment the Christian comes into harmony with the thoughts of God, life becomes easier and we find the strength and wisdom to win the battles. Because we begin to look at our passage on this earth with the vision of God. The pleasures of the Earth do not seduce us. Our heart is not stuck with consumerism.

We behave like the prisoner who is anxious for the day when he will leave that prison and breathe the eternal air of life at the Lord's side. He will lose the fear of death, for no one enters Heaven without dying, except for Elijah and Enoch who were caught up in God.

 But it is good to be aware that our thoughts will never be the same as the Lord's. They will be better and more perfect than ours. Meditate and see if you think just like Jesus Christ or just look at the pleasures of this world.

Traps prepared by the evil one 4

* Luís Alberto Alves

We have a bad habit of valuing too much the passage through this dark world. It is the same as the prisoner who happened to like the prison cell where he is serving sentence, forgetting the life in freedom that awaits him after serving the sentence. By leaving aside the desire to dwell in Heaven, the Lord's thoughts will not clash with ours.

The Devil realizing this attitude will sow several lentil dishes, reinforcing the idea that it is better to enjoy the pleasures of the world, because in Heaven they do not exist. Yes, because nothing sinful comes in here. By entering into this trap, the Christian departs from the ways of Jesus Christ and his thoughts of life and falls into the trap of the enemy.

Blinded by the pleasures of this world, the Lord's rebel servant can not visualize that the pleasures of the world are swift. An example of this is Carnival. It lasts a few days and in the end people are tired and out of money, some of them contaminated with venereal diseases, which will jeopardize their marital relationship.

Every party in the world is short. The feasts that the Lord has asked Israel to do are several days and serve as meditation to strengthen the spirit and communion with God. It is not a festival of the satisfaction of the flesh, but of adoration of the Lord. An example of this is the Passover, where a ram is roasted and all share, not forgetting the past suffered in Egypt, from where the Lord has set them free.

Sinful nature of the human being 3

* Luís Alberto Alves

The thoughts of various Christians is to get well of life. It has high limit credit card, designer clothes, expensive shoes, famous perfumes, luxury cars, and lots of money in the checking account. It is no sin to desire all this. The problem is when it takes the place of God, leaving Him in the background.

But how can we identify that my thoughts are in tune with the God? One of the signs is the divergence. Example: sunny Saturday, wallet full of money, tank of the car clogged with fuel and much disposition. By the logic of the world, it is the ideal day to stroll, to get a beach or to fill up with bags in the malls.

In the Lord's sight, this beautiful day could be used to visit some asylum, orphanage or even hospital, to pray for these abandoned and needy people of the mercy of Jesus Christ. Three hours would be sufficient to make this idea of the Lord and then we could carry out our projects.

However, the sinful nature in the heart leaves this project of God aside. We spend all day just satisfying our flesh instead of valuing the spiritual. In this example it is quite clear that the thoughts of God do not match those of the human being.

Mind seized by the pleasures of the world 2

* Luís Alberto Alves

As our mind is very attached to the pleasures of the world, we develop the habit of believing that the human will equals the spiritual of the Lord. Even when we pray, we often put our requests ahead of worship. We have entered the petition alone, without giving any reverence to Jesus Christ.

We forget that the eternal abode of every authentic Christian is in the Heavens, not here on Earth. But we are preoccupied with acquiring earthly blessings, sometimes in clear disagreement with God. In the sentimental area, many people engage in relationships that the Lord does not like.

We leave our projects ahead of God's. He wants us to do his work to win souls for his Kingdom, but we enter the path of consumerism and pleasures, especially of the flesh. The important thing is to carry out our projects, even those without any harmony with the Heavens.

The thoughts of the Lord are of good, of salvation of lives, of preaching his Word to all (especially to those who hate us) and prayer to the captives for evil. But when we get up in the morning, we do not even thank God for the night of sleep. We shower and then coffee and go to work or school without looking at the Lord.

Is your thought attuned to God's? 1

* Luís Alberto Alves

The famous passage from Isaiah, chapter 55, verse 8: "My thoughts are not yours, for I am in heaven and you on earth ..." When we analyze this Word we realize that what we often think is not in tune With Jesus Christ.

Our mistake is to imagine that our thoughts, most of the time, hit those of God. By the way, it is very clear how selfish we are. We can not see the future, nor can we be alive in the next week, month, or year.

When Isaiah, inspired by God, wrote this text he spoke about Israel, as always praying the Lord's promises, sometimes putting aside his advice and predictions.

There in Heaven there is nothing sinful, there is only holiness and Glory of the Lamb who has taken away the sin of the world through His death on the cross. Being eternal, God has the condition to know what is going to happen to us in the future, whether it is good or bad.

Jesus ready to train you 5

* Luís Alberto Alves

Darkness seeks to take away the sight of the obsessed. Even to kill someone, a person in these conditions is not able to understand that will do something that could harm her forever. But with the prayer and help of Jesus Christ, this obsessing spirit is expelled and peace reigns in that heart.

It is through these three mechanisms: possession, oppression and obsession that Satan attacks the human being. When the Christian is clothed in the armor of God, through fasting and prayer, he can easily disarm these three bombs for the Glory of God. The key is to pray without ceasing. Jesus is ready to empower you.

He himself said: whoever seeks me finds, whoever seeks me finds me. When the Christian truly stands in the presence of the Lord, the doors of the heavens are opened and from there they see the anointing to break all kinds of yoke that Satan is putting in the way of the servant of God.

But we must put aside the lentil dishes offered by the evil spirits. The Devil is not stupid. Today, it uses a lot of social networks, where people get stuck during the day and until night and dawn, sharing commonplace issues, without any essence of the Lord.

Fight for the crown of life 4

* Luís Alberto Alves

It is common in this process, the possessed to change the tone of voice, sometimes speaking very thick or shouting, usually perspiring and breathing heavily. Hands close with clawed fingers. In the struggle to free this one, the demons fight not to let their hands touch the head of the possessed. For therein is the crown of life, which in the case of one in darkness is in the hands of devils.

When the liberation occurs, the possessed person collapses, and it takes a few seconds or minutes to return to normal and usually does not remember anything. After sending the demons away, it is important to pray for God to pour out His Peace on that life, asking for forgiveness for the mistakes that person has made and crying out for the Lord's help.

In oppression, the demoniac is pressed. He hears voices of the evil spirits asking him to do what is wrong before the commandments of God. It is common for a person to speak that he does not like to use drugs, but the voices of the demons are too insistent and to stop listening to them the person yields to the suggestion of darkness. Some claim that it seems like a very great force that pushes them to commit all kinds of sin. In a more advanced stage it is normal to find the oppressed talking to himself. For he alone can hear the voices of the devils.

Obsession is something that comes from within the heart. One gives vent to the will of Satan and begins to plan evil plans. At this time she may feel like killing, stealing, prostitution, drugging or even walking the streets without any direction. In this process of obsession, there is no change. The person chooses to do something and refuses to listen to advice or even receive prayer.

Fasting and prayer, weapons against the darkness 3

* Luís Alberto Alves

When we fast we realize how often we are out of alignment with God. Sincere fasting shows our dependence on television, the internet, gossip magazine, and even unfunny talk with people who do not please God.

Fasting is spiritual training to face darkness. It is the opening of our heart to the Lord to fill us with his anointing, for he is cleansed of impurities, which were withdrawn during fasting accompanied by prayer. From there the Lord opens our spiritual eyes, we realize when someone is held hostage by demons.

Evil spirits attack in three ways: possession (totally controlling the person's life), oppression (they act by pushing that person to do their wills, it is common in this process to hear voices talking to do something bad or suggesting suicide) and obsession Evil that springs from the heart, is from the inside out.)

When one is possessed, demons (usually legions with more than 2,000 evil spirits) triple their physical strength, and it is not possible to hold the demon possessed, even if he is thin or even a child. Only by the name of Jesus Christ, will the situation be controlled, if the one who is praying has life on the altar of the Lord, clothed with fasting and prayer.

Prayer is Christian's Jacket 2

* Luís Alberto Alves

The Christian needs to put on prayer. Asking the Lord to cover him with his crimson blood, surround him with his anointing and reveal more and more his will, how to act to please him. God likes worship. Something that fills your heart with love, for it shows the servant's gratitude to Jesus Christ.

When we fast we must stay in the spirit. We disconnect from the world, especially from social networks. Fasting is a time of intimacy with God. It is good at this time to read the Bible, to meditate on the Word. Have no relationship with the world in this period. If you are in the service, stay in the mood, avoiding conversations about indecent subjects or something that will add nothing.

The fast must be complete. There is no fasting half-way, that is, not drinking water, but drinking soda, not eating lunch, but eating sweet. Fasting accepted by God is deprivation of food for as long as it is necessary: it may vary from 1 hour to 6 hours, depending on the resistance. Not worth is fasting for 15 minutes or half an hour. This is a regime, not a fast.

Never fast asleep. Fasting when lying down and delivering on waking. Because in this period the body and the spirit were not touched. The essence of fasting is to break the spirit. Sleeping no one does that. When Daniel fasted, he did not sleep. Only when he was awake for 21 days.

Do you know how to fight the demons?1

* Luís Alberto Alves

If someday in your house, work, or school does someone fall down with a demon you are able to drive out this evil spirit? Or running to the bathroom, hangs on the phone to call the pastor or some worker or call the police to solve a spiritual problem?

Unlike many preaching in radios and churches leaving behind the spirits of darkness, they exist and enter the bodies of people to bring about destruction. When this time comes, it is not possible to open social networks for instructions.

During the ministry of Jesus Christ he came across various situations where he had to face demons. In the most famous he freed the young Gadarene, as described in Mark, chapter 5, verses 1 to 5. And out of him came 2,000 evil spirits who entered into a herd of swine, which leaped into the sea and died.

In Paul's letter to the Ephesians, chapter 6, verses 12 and 13, our struggle in this world is described. The combat is not against people (used by Satan), but against principalities, powers, dominating spirits and forces of evil that inhabit the celestial regions. Jesus Christ, through Paul, warns us to take on the armor of God (the Word) so that we can resist in the evil day and stand firm.

Have you accumulated treasure in the Heavens?

* Luís Alberto Alves

Stop what you are doing and meditate on this next question: "Have you accumulated treasure in the Heavens"? If the answer is no, you better take care and start working quickly so you do not lose your salvation.

As the apostle Luke wrote in chapter 12, verses 20 and 21, when Jesus Christ asks if He asks you for your soul now, do you have something good to offer? In this passage through this world, where have you accumulated treasure?

It is no sin to enjoy the good and the good of life, but we must invest resources in Heaven, so that when we are face to face with the Father, our credit to the Almighty is great.

Forget to gather much treasure here in this world, where moths gnaw and thieves steal, especially in the governmental sphere, by means of high taxes. Do the work of God and win souls to your Kingdom. Make savings in the Heavens.

How many Christians resist the world?

* Luís Alberto Alves

In these 21 years of walking beside Jesus Christ I realize how much the Christian is still dependent on the world. Few can live the ideals preached by the Lord. For bullshit they decide to eat on the enemy's plate.

Sexual life is an example of this. How many young women, in their view, dress like prostitutes! It is a horror to see them in very short skirts or tight dresses, leaving the mark of the intimate pieces.

Others can not resist secular music. When it comes to Rock & Roll, attachment to letters is visible without any connection to the love of Christ. Others sincerely say that Gospel Music is lacking.

They are deluded by the wiles of Satan to offer the pleasures of this world, all short-pass, equal smoke. There are few who are resistant to keeping the crown of life high in the head to enter the Heavens.

We need Abraão's patience.

* Luís Alberto Alves

The 21st century Christian is impatient. She loves to put God on the wall. Ask the Lord something and the next day he starts to charge. Imagine Jesus Christ being a fast food restaurant clerk.

Many do not meditate on the trajectory of Abraham, who called God at the age of 75, waited 25 years to have the beloved son Isaac and after 23 years had to offer it in sacrifice on Mount Moriah.

He heard from the Lord that he would be the father of multitudes, but never questioned, asking when it would take place. He let God work and He knows how to do it better than any of us.

The promise was fulfilled. Today, Abraham is considered the father of faith by Jews, Christians and Muslims. The sum of these three religions exceeds 2 billion people. We need that faithfulness today.
