Many preferred to increase the calluses of their fingers from browsing so much on social networks, sharing unimportant content. They did not do the same as the farmer, who selected his best seeds to sow on the land.

The easiest way was to embark on the proposals of darkness, to satisfy the desires of the flesh. Every Christian wants to be a child of God, but few try without obedience to his commandments.

But most of the time we want the rain to come without clouds appearing in the sky. This is not how the spirit world works. God is merciful, but He imposes rules.

One of them is to seek him without ceasing. It does not guide the Christian so that he can do this from time to time. And always. In this pandemic period, of several isolated months, how many Christians were concerned about seeking the Lord?

It is no longer new the large number of students who buy work on the internet to guarantee good grades at school. There are cases of lawyers who plagiarize texts of sentences to mount a good petition and try to acquit their clients.

It is the short path, free from the suffering of remembering excerpts from books read in college. In this sad view of the Gospel, people want God's blessings without effort to win it.

It is trying to enter the promised land without going through the fortified Jericho. Everything should be easy. Worse, as a slave, God would have to satisfy all of our desires.
