When babies, when crying, often in pain, the mother brought the bottle, so that through the food, the discomfort would pass. This rule continued through childhood, adolescence and until the end of life.
How many Christians do not eat compulsively? Do others go to shopping malls to buy something, to scare off that frustration or even take unnecessary trips?
To circumvent the hard teaching proposed by God, many prefer the short path, where the rule is satisfaction at all costs. It is important to be well with yourself. It does not matter the form for this.
