Look for the bread of life, which is Jesus. Stay attached to the True Vine. It is the best resource to get used to the eternal days you will live in Heaven.

Many of them have strayed from Jesus' ways and know the Word of the Lord deeply. But what is the reason for this? As evangelicals we make the same mistake. We waste time comparing denominations. Judging ministries, finding defects, as if there was a perfect church. Like a stone tied to the heel, the weight of the past, depending on the person's experience, will subtly drag you to the bottom of the sea of ​​incredulity.

Within us there is the struggle between the flesh and the spirit. The flesh, our human nature, will always seek the terrain, the things of this world, it will never aim at Heaven. It is the famous and sad fall to sin, with the justification of “nothing to do”. The flesh will never be pleased to see the body during a vigil, couples meeting or youth retreat.

The human side will seek the satisfaction of desires, especially of a sexual nature. How many courts of evangelicals do not skip for fornication? How many girls, still teenagers, daughters of parents converted to the Gospel of the Lord, do not become pregnant? It happened in the 20th century and it continues to happen today.

For some years I competed street races, including participating in three marathons. From there I learned a lesson: to finish the test, one should never look back at all instigators or commit some sort of distress. Because your body's metabolism is quite fast, if you suddenly stop, it is possible that you will not return to the trait anymore, because of cramps.

On our spiritual journey in this world, we sometimes make the mistake of praising the past. Especially when we face struggles. We fell into the madness of thinking that before we met Jesus Christ everything was fine. Progress was always on our side. Notice in sentimental terms: How many couples during family conflict fall into the error of comparisons, of praising old loves?

At work, some employees, even with good salaries, complain about the company. They say that in the previous job such a boss was good, the administration worked differently. Finally, do not forget the past, when you should focus on the direction of the future, to reap the good fruits later on.

Since most people are immersed in sin, they make the wrong decision to stand beside this great number of wicked people who, if they do not have a great encounter with Jesus, will inevitably plunge into the lake of sulfur, reserved for Satan and his demons. The worst thing is that there, after the great Judgment, the permanence will be eternal.

It is not easy to follow Jesus. There are persecutions, injuries, slander, discrimination and even threats. Pleasing the light has a price. Due to lack of wisdom, the 21st century generation adhered to the facility package offered by the darkness. It is better to know the flashes of happiness here on Earth than the fullness in Eternity.

They imagine that because of the Grace of God it will be possible to deceive Jesus Christ on the big day, as many people do with their family members by lying all the time. God has never been and will never be surpassed. He is eternal and has power in his hands. So stay tuned for the delicacies offered by the devil. It may be too late tomorrow for you to return to Jesus' way.

God would be grimace and homophobic by not agreeing to gay marriage. In fact, there are pastors who refuse to bring sermons on this subject, for fear of prosecution. Even quoting Bible verses, where God clearly condemns homosexuality, as in 1 Corinthians, chapter 6, verse 9.

There, God, through the apostle Paul, makes it very clear that homosexuals (if they do not convert and are freed from this spirit of perversion) will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. But since right is wrong today, God is classified as homophobic, for not agreeing with something that is considered disgusting by Him.

Unfortunately few evangelicals participate in Sunday School Bible. They do not study the Word of God. They know the names of artists and personalities who participate in the realities shows by heart, but are unaware of most Bible verses. For lack of knowledge they accept wrong as right.

Today it is astonishing to hear from someone young who will date, get engaged and then get married. For many it is absurd to think so. The thing is to have sex first and then, who knows, to live together and maybe someday formalize the union in the civil and, therefore, receive the blessing in the church. Within several denominations, the number of evangelicals who adopt this absurdity is great.

Adultery, considered sin by Jesus Christ, as highlighted in the Ten Commandments, won reproach for the 21st century generation. It does not match free will. What is the harm, in the vision of this type of evangelical, of betraying someone would cause whom we say we love? Everything would be in the style of thinking about it.

To complicate the situation, some evangelical parents agree that their daughters or sons take and sleep with girlfriends or boyfriends at home. They usually accept fornication, as if it were something natural. Even with Jesus' disapproval, they ignore the warning and agree with this absurdity.

Because of the advancement of technology, mainly the generation born in this 21st century came to believe that God would be outdated, for keeping the commandments transmitted to Moses several millennia on the agenda.

At a time when right has become wrong and wrong is right for many people, it is nothing new to hear such talk, emphasizing that God has lost the tram of modernity. As if the advance seen today in the Lord's vision was something extraordinary.

Unfortunately, countless evangelicals have already entered this leaky boat, endorsing the thesis that God is not in tune with the new times. He would be frowning at maintaining monogamy in marriage, as something sacred rather than liberating general, with betrayals establishing themselves as common.

Something despicable! Does anyone keep trash inside the house? Even our bodies throw out what no longer serves. It dumps it far away without any use. Jesus warned us, through His Word, that we would be persecuted and afflicted. Did he tell us that our life would be a bed of roses, everything flowing well, just receiving praise, living in the calm? He faced struggle, and many, being the Son of God. Imagine us, that we lack his Grace to stay alive. Unlike our body, Jesus Christ, in our worst moments, full of sins, some of them occurred in thoughts or housed within the heart, does not abandon us. At this time, the Lord asks you to talk to Him, expose your weaknesses. God knows you're not a superman or a superwoman. Know us. Have a frank conversation with Jesus. In the solitude of your room, or even inside your car, or bathroom of your company, talk to Jesus, very quietly, what you are feeling. Say: “Jesus, I am flawed, I am a sinner, I make countless mistakes, even when my intention is to always get it right. I promise I will please you, but I end up succumbing. I need you. Forgive my faults. Keep being my compass. I don't want to lose your love ”. You, like many evangelicals, may think that a pastor is immune to struggle. It has an armored spirit and soul. I deceive my brothers and sisters. We pastors face several battles every day. Satan tries to shame us before God at all times. You have no idea of ​​the battles I have. Not even my family! They are wars against forces of darkness that have the mission of destroying us, so that we can no longer be God's instruments in anyone's life. But I always ask God to forgive me for my faults. I expose them to God. There are mistakes that you need to share only with Jesus. He has the structure to understand his weaknesses. Do not make the mistake of talking about your intimacies with people, who may disappoint you. Pray like this: “Jesus, as it is written in Psalm 139, that you have known all my days of my life, before being born in my mother's womb. I confess and ask for forgiveness (say the mistakes you made) and I implore you not to abandon me. Keep Jesus holding my hands. May my life always be a Father, a reason for joy for you. Do not allow Jesus, even for a second, for me to leave his presence. I am flawed ”. Keep praying like this: “But don't let me get used to sin, as if it were something normal. Open my mind and discern. May I know, by the power of his Word, to distinguish wrong from right.
