And God Blessed Joseph in Egypt - 10

The great works the Lord leaves in the hands of his servants. For with your wisdom the great problems will be solved. Even those considered impossible in their eyes, such as restoration of marriage, cure of an illness impossible for Medicine, liberation from drug addiction, drinks, games, prostitution, leaving the world of crime and trafficking.

The greater Egypt, the greater the blessing of the Lord. As a prisoner, José obtained the position of governor of that empire. He won as wife one of the most beautiful women in that land, Azenath, daughter of authority with great influence with Pharaoh. He had two wonderful children.

From someone despised and humiliated, he became governor, to whom under Pharaoh, everyone owed him obedience. The past of pain the Lord will transform into a present and a future of joy. For it is God Himself who will take the blessings that were held there from the darkness and place them in his hands.

Never stop meditating on Genesis chapter 41, verse 41, when Pharaoh says to Joseph, in front of all his dome: "I now give you the command of the whole land of Egypt". Your blessings will not be hidden. Hell will have to see them, until it was used by the devil, to betray you. Egypt is a land of blessing!

The Lord brings the blessing completely. Leave nothing in half. Pharaoh orders Joseph to be removed from prison. Shower, shave and wear new clothes. That is, the dirt from the time of bitterness and pain is removed. The Lord, even use the wicked to do this.

God's Word emphasizes that the humiliated will be exalted. José had his exaltation before the wizards of farão and all its dome, mainly the wizards and sorcerers who served him. Joseph, with God's help, interpreted the dreams of the pharaohs without a shadow of a doubt.

He was restored by the Lord, because the bath he took in jail, spiritually it was God removing from his life all the barriers that had been imposed on him. The breaking of the dark projects, which they imagined would complete their tasks of seeing him dead in that place.

In other words, my brother or sister, the Lord will not allow you to die in this Egypt where you currently are. In your eyes there is no chance that any kind of change will occur. Never forget that the impossible does not exist for God. Only for men.

God is skilled. You know how to do anything. It allowed Pharaoh to have a dream that no one could decipher. It disturbed the butler about the promise made to José, at the time he was serving time in jail. You can be sure that it was something very strong.

Since no person could have access to Pharaoh to make any kind of suggestion. He was in danger of dying, as he could be interpreted by his guard as someone willing to commit some kind of attack. But God kept the cupbearer and made him talk to Pharaoh about Joseph.

In a polytheistic culture, God did not allow the magicians who worked for Pharaoh to interpret the dreams of Pharaohs. There are situations in our lives that no one can see a solution for. Only a servant faithful to the Lord has this gift.

God is so great that it makes the authority remember that there is someone marginalized, who will still be a great tool for solving problems. Joseph's faith kept him alive to enjoy the blessing of one day seeing his family again, especially his parents and siblings.

God's power is immense and manages to bless someone who is lost in Egypt. For the world, you or the situation you are experiencing is considered impossible to resolve. That is, not even the miracle changes. However, Jesus Christ specializes in impossible causes.

However, trust must always be in the Lord, never in people. They fail and forget something good that you have done at a certain time in your life. José interpreted the butler's dream and predicted that he would soon be released. As indeed it occurred.

José asked him not to forget him when he was out of that hell. Unfortunately, two years have passed and that promise has fallen short. How many times have you trusted others and realized the pain of deception again. In life the people of the world, and even false Christians, act this way.

However, Jesus Christ never forgets his own. It is the general who never leaves the soldier, even wounded, on the battlefield. And José was a precious warrior, who was temporarily molding in a prison, where no one could survive more than ten years.

There are people who cannot resist betrayals, especially when they come from family members. They are traumatized. José had this sad experience twice. The Bible makes it very clear that Potiphar, upon hearing his wife's false story, gave him no chance. Sent him to the prison.

There another battle begins. Since the prisoner does not agree with someone chosen by the prison management to take care of the jail. They believe that he is a person who can report possible escape attempts. But God continued to care for Joseph, preventing his life from ending in that place.

It is when he meets the butler and the baker and soon his reputation for interpreting dreams, through God, goes through the prison. Even when the Christian is in a terrible situation, darkness cannot destroy him. Stand still.

That is why my brother or sister still remains alive to contemplate the fulfillment of all the blessings reserved by God for you. The difference is that your prison has no grid, it is a situation that consumes your years of life, currently plunged in sadness.

José suffered the betrayal of part of the brothers, who threw him in a hole, so that he died there. The evil did not come from someone unknown, but from their own family members. How often we are not mistreated by those who are close to us all the time!

The pain, in this type of betrayal, is profound. Why no one expects the badness to come from someone close to us. How many parents do not end up being beaten by their children and some even lose their lives in their hands? Is there anything sadder than this type of situation?

What about the women who die murdered by men who once, in the not-too-distant past, chose their husbands and vowed eternal love. This is sentimental Egypt. Others suffer various types of aggressions, deeply damaging the soul.

Joseph, like Jesus Christ, felt the pain of betrayal on his skin. The first with his brothers and then with Potiphar's wife, who without satisfying sexual desires with him, invented a false harassment and threw him in prison, from where he would not leave alive. He would die in prison, far from his family.

José was not given a chance to choose. He came to Egypt as a slave. In this class the person has no rights whatsoever. You must only obey. Otherwise he is tortured and depending on the failure, he ends up dying. Imagine the nights he went to sleep exhausted with fatigue and homesickness.

When looking at the Bible, we have the impression that everything happened quickly in Joseph's life. It took a long 13 years to reach the post of governor. Period that worked too much, with no right to make any kind of complaint. Just obey.

This does not mean that Joseph conformed. He just never lost his faith in God. So much so that he was blessed in everything he did. Even in prison, he was responsible for taking care of the incarceration. He gained the confidence of the prison board. How many times people, even believing in God, go blind in Egypt.

Even though he is present at church services, he suspects that the Lord will bless him by ending his captivity. Zombies live the same way. The body is present in the Church, but the heart is distant. He lost faith in the Lord's promises.

Egypt in the Christian's life only changes its name. For many it is a failed marriage, full of strife, intrigue, confusion, betrayal, addiction and even physical and verbal aggression. Experience that few people can resist, without giving up and throwing everything up.

When the Christian is in Egypt, few can see the blessings that God has in store for him. They visualize only the bad side of the situation. They become suspicious of the Lord's promises. Some try to resolve the situation in physical strength, because they have lost faith in Jesus.

They forget that God teaches us through suffering, as it is in the book of Job, chapter 36, verse 15, and uses affliction to open our eyes. Because in the bonanza, people despise the Lord's teachings, since they do not look to the blesser, only to blessings.

José's story draws attention because he has suffered all these hardships since he was a teenager, a difficult period for anyone, where he lacks the protection of his parents. His heart felt the sadness of being sold as a commodity and living in a strange land.

I am not talking about someone far from the Lord, but about a person who received Jesus for lunch and dinner at his home. I knew Jesus personally, not from hearing about him. Even so, Marta did not believe that her brother Lazarus would live again.

And when Jesus asked for the stone to be removed, Martha warned the Master that Lazarus' body would already have a bad smell, since he had been buried for four days. Realize that this line is of someone who lived with Jesus and knew that He had the power for the dead to revive.

In Joseph's case, he never had any doubt that God was at his side, even in the terrible moments he spent in prison, unjustly. He endured the longing for his family. He did not see his parents for 13 years. In a strange land, where strange gods were worshiped. I was alone!

How many times have we lived this way too. Sometimes inside our home, where many of the family do not serve Jesus. We are humbled by worshiping the Lord, trusting His Provision. It is Egypt that many Christians face, which only changes its name.

When meditating on the story of Joseph, narrated in the book of Genesis, from chapters 41 to 48, it is possible to realize that God blesses his servants in the places where they suffered, were in danger of dying or disappearing forever.

Best! The Lord gives us the blessing completely, as it was with Joseph, who had as wife, Azenath, a beautiful woman who gave him the sons Manasseh and Ephraim, political power, because he was governor and money, because he was never hungry again.

Satan, astute, seeks to cool the faith of the Christian who faces battles to win blessings. And many brothers in the faith fall into the error of thinking that the Lord will only bless someone when they are in a place without war.

When Jesus arrived at the house of Lazarus, who was dead, his sister did not believe that he would revive. He replied to the Master, that his brother would be resurrected on the great day of the Last Judgment.
