Another memorable case is the pregnancy of Elizabeth, sister of Mary. Old and sterile, she would never have imagined she would still have the joy of bearing a child. In Luke chapter 1, verse 36, the Angel of the Lord communicates to her that she will give birth to a boy, baptized by the name of John the Baptist, later used to baptize Jesus Christ.

  Her husband Zacharias did not believe in the prophecy, because he was already old and knew that Isabel was not able to be a mother. God left him speechless for nine months until he saw, with his own eyes, his son born.

Another famous passage is recorded in Jeremiah, chapter 32, verses 17 to 27, when the prophet says: "O Eternal, my God, you who made the heavens and the earth with your great power and with your outstretched arm, nothing it is impossible for you! ... "When Jeremiah spoke these words, Israel had bad times.

The people refused to listen to the Word of God. Yet Jeremiah insisted on preaching, believing that the Lord knows not the barrier of the impossible. With God everything is possible, even what our mind classifies as madness!

In times of struggle, sometimes we make the mistake of doubting God's ability. We think He has forgotten us and we are before the lions to be devoured. Meditate on the situation of Sarah, as described in the book of Genesis, chapter 18, verse 14, when the Angel of the Lord told her that after 12 years she would be pregnant.

Imagine a barren, ninety-year-old woman promising to be a mother in a 12-month gestation! She is the only woman in the history of the world who has borne a child in her belly for 1 year! And Isaac was born perfect. When Sarah smiled when she heard the prophecy made by the Angel of the Lord, she got the following answer: "Is it impossible for God?"

You were created and created by God to accomplish a mission. There are still victories for your life! Disconnect yourself from all the malignities that are corroding you. Turn off emotionally and spiritually from what hurts you! The enemy wants you to move away from the Altar of God! It is using your faith that brings the new of God and a miracle of the Lord on your life. Give your life to Jesus Christ and walk with the certainty that better days are yet to come !!

Beware of dissatisfaction! It can blind the understanding and lead you to something that you do not need and that will only bring suffering. The Bible warns of the divided, unstable, unstable mind: The double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. If you live in duality of thought, you will not settle down into anything.

Sometimes the promises of God seem not to be fulfilled in our lives, the desert seems to have no end and the miracles that God has done are no longer remembered. We begin to murmur and we lose faith, hope, the desire to continue. Maybe you're feeling this way, moodless, powerless. But do not give up, after the desert comes the conquest, the victory, the promised land. May God give us strength to face the evil day and take away discouragement, sadness and weariness to live out His promises.
