Our daily challenge is to renounce ourselves, rather than to be moved during a song of consecration during worship, what God expects of us, is to do as Christ did: sacrifice our desires and desires and, for the sake of Him and the who are like lost sheep, submit ourselves wholly in obedience to his good, pleasing and perfect will (Rom. 12: 2). This ranges from a willingness to wake up a little earlier to have a longer prayer time than to be sacrificed in the name of faith.

When we lose sight of the promise, we forget who God is. The important thing is not the time of the promise to be fulfilled, the important thing is that it will be fulfilled. Whoever does not lose sight of the promise does the same to Abraham! Who, in hope, believed against hope, so much so that he became the father of many nations. And he did not doubt the promise of God by unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, and being sure that what the Lord had promised was also mighty to perform.

The greatest of all struggles is the one we face against eternal death and we do not have to fight against it because it was through our choice that someone has already won it for us and that one is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, death and gave us the victory over it, by resurrecting on the third day giving us eternal life.
