Ezekiel, chapter 37, is famous for showing the valley full of dry bones. God asks the prophet if it is possible for him to have life again. Ezekiel looks at situation and replies that only God has the power to give that answer. He is surprised when the Lord orders to prophesy life in that tragic situation.

Sometimes God asks us if the miracle we dream so much will occur. Tired of getting caught up in life, we respond that only God can change that. Just open our mouths and take possession of the blessing. It is not easy, but the quality of Jesus Christ is to make it impossible in possible.

In Luke, chapter 7, verses 1-10, the story of the Roman army's centurion who goes in search of Jesus to heal an employee of his is told. Jesus is willing to go to his house, but he, full of faith, says that if the Lord prays there, the servant will receive healing where he is sick. This is done. When he returns home and asks when the boy is cured, he realizes that it was the same time he spoke to Jesus. This episode shows that distance does not exist for God to act. Just have faith.

In moments of struggle it is not easy to have peace. It is when we cry, become depressed, and even reduce our faith. After all, everything seems difficult to change. At this hour it is important to read John, chapter 14, verse 27, when Jesus Christ comforts us saying: "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; I do not give it to you as the world gives. Do not be troubled your heart, do not be afraid". Some people resort to tranquilizers, drugs, fortune tellers, conch shells in search of peace. All in vain. Only Jesus can calm our hearts and make our dreams come true.

Another strategy of darkness is to prevent the Christian from visualizing the future. They struggle to hold you in the present and past. They use this to try to discredit the promises God has made to us. In Paul's letter in 1 Corinthians, chapter 2, verse 9, the passage in which God says, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no human heart has ever entered, what God has prepared for those who love him." When we believe in Jesus, with all our heart, the best of the Lord will be a reality in our lives, even in a situation where we can hardly believe that it will change.

At the height of the battle, as written in Numbers, chapter 11, verse 23, Moses questions God about what will come ahead of him, in leading the Jewish people through the desert, who complained about the lack of food and went on to miss the time they lived in Egypt. It is when God gives you the following answer: "Had the arm of Yahweh shortened? You'll see if the Word I gave you is fulfilled or not! "

The context of this text shows that we sometimes lose faith in what God has promised us, in most cases because of our afflictions. We feel the thump of the struggle, the negative words and even the situation itself, which we are living. Satan, in this hour, puts in our mind, that it was better the time we lived in a false abundance, but always afraid of the worst.

Even among the disciples of Jesus Christ, as narrated in Matthew, chapter 19, verse 26, there was disbelief. They doubted the Lord's doing. It is when Jesus responds that "This is impossible for humans, but with God all things are possible."

  In this sentence, Jesus makes it very clear that all things are possible. God is not limited by the barriers in this world. In fact, the Lord does not know the time as we know it here in this world. If for Christ Jesus a thousand years it is as if they were one day, how much will be a month for God?

And what about Elisha, as narrated in 2 Kings, chapter 6, when Geasin, come terrified in the house and says that they are surrounded by the enemy army of Israel and will end up dead. Elisha prays and asks God to open the boy's eyes. When he goes out into the yard and looks again, he sees the mountains around the city full of cars and horses of fire.

The Army of God was much larger and more powerful, leaving the enemy soldiers blind. In this passage it is very clear that God shows how powerful he is, to the point of transforming situations, difficult in our eyes, into something simple, where only God has power to act.

Another interesting episode is narrated in 2 Kings, chapter 3, verse 18, when God announces that the enemy army of Moab will be defeated, in a situation where everything showed that it was easier to happen the logician. But God made the impossible possible and his name was glorified.

Another memorable case is the pregnancy of Elizabeth, sister of Mary. Old and sterile, she would never have imagined she would still have the joy of bearing a child. In Luke chapter 1, verse 36, the Angel of the Lord communicates to her that she will give birth to a boy, baptized by the name of John the Baptist, later used to baptize Jesus Christ.

  Her husband Zacharias did not believe in the prophecy, because he was already old and knew that Isabel was not able to be a mother. God left him speechless for nine months until he saw, with his own eyes, his son born.

Another famous passage is recorded in Jeremiah, chapter 32, verses 17 to 27, when the prophet says: "O Eternal, my God, you who made the heavens and the earth with your great power and with your outstretched arm, nothing it is impossible for you! ... "When Jeremiah spoke these words, Israel had bad times.

The people refused to listen to the Word of God. Yet Jeremiah insisted on preaching, believing that the Lord knows not the barrier of the impossible. With God everything is possible, even what our mind classifies as madness!

In times of struggle, sometimes we make the mistake of doubting God's ability. We think He has forgotten us and we are before the lions to be devoured. Meditate on the situation of Sarah, as described in the book of Genesis, chapter 18, verse 14, when the Angel of the Lord told her that after 12 years she would be pregnant.

Imagine a barren, ninety-year-old woman promising to be a mother in a 12-month gestation! She is the only woman in the history of the world who has borne a child in her belly for 1 year! And Isaac was born perfect. When Sarah smiled when she heard the prophecy made by the Angel of the Lord, she got the following answer: "Is it impossible for God?"
